Background

디지털 음원, 유튜브로 음악을 듣는 시대.

2000년대 들어 스트리밍 서비스가 음악 시장을 주도했습니다. 하지만 2019년 미국에서 LP는 1884만 장이 팔렸고, 영국에서는 430만 장이 팔리는 등 12년 연속 증가하고 있습니다. 2008년 6500만 달러에서 2015년 4억 1600만 달러로 6배이상 증가했습니다. 한국에서도 2016년 28만장에서 2018년 51만장으로 증가하여 세계 흐름과 비슷한 양상을 띄고 있습니다.

취향이 확실한 젊은 세대를 중심으로 사운드는 떨어지지만 턴테이블, 바이닐에 대한 선호도가 증가하고 있습니다. 실용성보다 정서적인 효과가 크게 작용했기 때문입니다. 핫플레이스 또한 비슷한 이유에서 경리단길에서 을지로, 성수동으로 이동하고 있습니다. 서울임에도 불구하고, 건물이 높지도, 세련되지 않지만 각광받는 원인은 과거와 현재의 공존이 주는 정서 때문입니다. 한 때 많이 사용하고 잊혀졌다 새로운 아이템으로 평가받는 턴테이블로 '오래된 미래'를 표현하였습니다.

In the 2000s, streaming services led the music market. However, in 2019, LP sold 18.84 million copies in the U.S. and 4.3 million copies in Britain, marking the 12th consecutive year of increase. It has more than sixfold increased from $65 million in 2008 to $416 million in 2015. In South Korea, the number of copies increased from 280,000 in 2016 to 510,000 in 2018, which is similar to the global trend.

The sound is degraded, especially among the younger generation who have clear preferences, but the preference for turntables and vinyls is increasing. It's because the emotional effect was greater than practical. For the same reason, Hot Place is moving from ltaewon to Eulji-ro and Seongsu-dong. The reason why the building is in the limelight despite Seoul is because of the coexistence of the past and the present. used a lot for a period of time 'The "old future" is expressed on a turntable that is evaluated as a new item.'

Design

전반적인 형태는 1970년대 구도심의 각져있는 빌딩과 용마루 지붕의 주택의 고전적인 건축양식을 차용했고, 직선적인 건물 속에서 수직, 수평으로 반복되는 사각형 패턴을 통해 '오래된' 이미지를 표현했습니다. 어스톤은 내추럴하고 안정적인 붉은 벽돌의 옛공장을 표현했으며, 현대적으로 꾸며진 을지로와 성수동의 가게 인테리어와 어울립니다. 밤이면 새로운 분위기로 거리를 비춰주는 가게의 네온사인은 아크릴 염색을 통해 미래적인 이미지를 연출했습니다.

The overall shape was borrowed from the classic architectural style of square buildings and ridge of the roof in the old city center in the 1970s, and the image of 'old' was expressed through rectangular patterns repeated vertically and horizontally from linear buildings. The neon signs of the shops illuminate the city with a new atmosphere at night, creating a futuristic image in acrylic colors.

For this reason, it has developed differently from before, from vinyl to packaging, and has been released with a variety of materials, making it one of the purchasing elements. Most of the albums are decorated with flowers on their shelves. OLD FUTURE is a side platform where you can watch the album with music through the album jacket.

전면 직각 패턴은 서울의 올드타운 건축양식에서 흔하게 볼 수 있습니다. 가이드 조명에 비춰 빛나는 패턴은 화려한 서울의 야경의 모습을 자아냅니다.

Front-angle patterns are common in the old town architecture of Seoul. The shining pattern in the light of the guide lights creates a spectacular night view of Seoul.

Adjust angle

턴테이블은 톤암의 바늘의 압력이 소리에 영향을 미치기 때문에 중요합니다. 침압을 미세하게 조절하기도하고, 최대한 중력의 힘을 받기 위해서 수평에 신중을 기하기도 합니다. 때로는 턴테이블을 인테리어 요소로도 활용하여 일반적인 모습에서 벗어나 수직 턴테이블도 나오고 있습니다.

과거와 미래의 공존을 생각한 OLD FUTURE처럼, 바늘의 압력을 위한 수평 턴테이블과 편리한 조작과 인테리어를 위한 수직의 턴테이블의 공존을 제시합니다. 제품의 다리를 조절하여 수평에 가까운기울기로 사용 가능하며, 제품의 다리를 수직으로 세워 11.5도 기울여진 상부 조작부를 만들 수 있습니다.

The turntable is important because the pressure of the tonearm's needle affects the sound. Adjust the needle pressure finely or be careful horizontally to receive maximum gravitational force. Sometimes, turntables are used as interior elements, and vertical turntables appear outside of the usual appearance.

It presents the coexistence of horizontal turntables for needle pressure and vertical turntables for convenient operation and interior, such as the OLD FUTURE, which considers the coexistence of the past and the future. You can adjust the legs of the product to use it in a near-horizontal tilt, and you can create an 11.5-degree tilt of the top operating part by erecting the legs of the product vertically.
